About the Artist
In the Mirror Tattoo is owned and operated by Shelby W. She was born and raised in Maine. She picked up brushes and pencils in adolescence and never put them down, she grew up drawing and exploring her creativity in many different ways. She enjoys an array of artistic mediums; oil painting, drawing, sculpting, watercolor, and sign making.
“I can sit and draw or paint all day every day. I don’t grow tired of it, I love coming up with original designs and being able to tattoo them on their forever home. I enjoy tattooing mostly in black and gray. My favorite styles to work in are ornamental and illustrative. I also love to use stipple shading for detail and texture. My favorite subject matters are florals, animals, nature, and whimsical designs.”
